One of the most requested plants in our range, the fiddle leaf fig remains as a popular houseplant option with its lush and dense foliage.

Ficus Lyrata

 

  • WATER

Wait until top inch (3cm of soil is dry before watering. Thoroughly Water Once a week. Allow the water to drain through the soil keeping moist but not wet.

 

  • LIGHT

Bright, but not direct sunlight, a bright room with diffuse light will work best

 

  • TEMPERATURE

Thrives in a warm humid environment.

 

  • DO

For optimal growing conditions, repot after one year. Alternatively ensure you regularly fertilise in the growing seasons Spring/Summer

 

  • DONT:

Fertilise in winter. Keep away from drafts and air conditioners.

 

  • TIPS & TRICKS:

Clean the leaves from dust as this can block light absorption.Dust can cause problems with the plants “breathing” & in turn invite fungus and bacteria that attracts pests. Limp, floppy leaves = underwatering.Yellow, brown & dropping off = left under watered for too long.
